Pitt Charcoal Set Pitt offers the finest quality of both compressed charcoal (produces a jet black mark) and natural charcoal (produces a blue-black mark). Both types of charcoal can be easily blended into paper or removed with the included kneaded eraser to produce highlights. The Pitt Basic Charcoal Set contains two compressed charcoal pencils (soft and medium), three compressed charcoal sticks (extra soft, soft and medium), four natural charcoal sticks (3-6mm) and a gray kneaded eraser.
